Songstuff Needs Your Photos!

Hi

We are always looking for decent and interesting photos and images to use on Songstuff, from promo artwork through to photos on main pages, live images, instruments, performance etc.

In addition to actual photos and images we would require permission from you (the copyright owner) to use the images. An email is sufficient and we will send through a standard copyright permission statement for you to complete and return to Songstuff.

We may not always be able to credit a photograph directly, depending on how it is used, however you would be credited as a photographer on a proposed page detailing contributors.

In general terms we would need permission for free, ongoing, world wide distribution (it's the internet!), and permission to edit images (resizing,cropping,tinting etc). In addition to the permission statement there is a plain text description of the rights to be granted and an explanation of why we need those rights.

Several members are artists and photographers, and that many of you will have live gig photographs (your band only). Ideally photographs showing identifiable people needs written permission from the "model" however if artwork is used in an article or editorial piece that permission is not required.

Where possible we will big up the contributions and the intended contributors page will be able to provide a link to your own site.

If your photos/images are online, please provide a link. if you would need to send images via email please PM admin first.

Yes, permission to cover each picture submitted by email to Songstuff by Kayla. If you will be submitting the pictures then we will adapt the form to say so.
