Thank you for my grand kids

Oh thank you from my heart

They came as gifts of treasure

That I cherished from the start

Their warm eyes fascinate me

As they twinkle in the light

And even when they’re saddened

They’re still a lovely sight

They can be quite a handful

And drive my patience wild

But nothing Lord can tame me

As a sweet look from a child

Just help me Lord to show them

In a way a grandma should

That life is very precious

Because you are so very good

This is nice, good topic, good rhyme, flows nicely. I like it.

And I agree, I joined for the lyrics section and found myself loving the poetry section.
