Brainstorm Collaboration Exercise

This exercise is about using interaction with a friend to create interesting phrases you can use in your songs.

1) Contact a friend by PM or email and point them to this topic as a description of what you would like to do.

2) Create a list of 50 nouns combined with creative descriptor adjectives

For Example:

“cold fire"

“liquid gold”

“Stormy love”

3) Exchange lists with your friend

4) Read through both lists for combinations that stand out for you.

5) Try combining elements from each list. Select a noun from one list and combine that with adjectives from the other, creating new phrases and new meanings.

6) Mark the phrases that inspire you to write more related to that phrase or inspire you to write some more phrases.
