First, emotions never come out wrong. They aren't wrong or right. Emotions simply "are."

Songwriting and getting your lyrics to reflect your emotions just takes a little time. Try to ask yourself questions about how you feel.

Brainstorming is one of the best ways, i've found, to write lyrics. If you're upset, angry, or have any other kind of intense emotions, I've found that those create the best lyrics. Sit down, grab a pen or pencil (don't write on a computer) and write away. write raw, harsh feelings if you have to. THEN go back and make a song out of the words.

hope that helps :)

Oh, and guitar just takes time. My fingers wouldn't work right for a while, but eventually something in your head just snaps and they decide to work :) keep practicing, every day!
