Hey everyone,

My name is Ryan Earnhardt and I am a drummer and owner of a studio here in Asheville called, Lumen Audio. If I had to say one thing about myself it's this: As much as I learn about the craft of audio production, I learn more and more how important that songs that we record then become. After all, what good is expensive gear without a great song written from the heart. There's a lot of musicians learning to record, and that's cool, but so many musicians begin to forget about the lyrics and melody when the get caught up in the tech stuff. That's what I'm hear for, the music. Honest, raw music.

Right now I'm into Great Lake Swimmers and "Rising Sand" by Robert Plant.
