Guess The Amp?Guitar Combination-Bet You Can't

Recommended Posts

;DI have a challenge for you.  I am a tone snob at times myself. (Iam one of those cretins who bought a Carr Rambler cause of the reverb and the pentode mode)  and I usually feel I can tell the amp and guitar from the sound until this puppy.  I challenge you to tell me what you are listening to here.  Any brave takers?

This is a cover of a Deborah Coleman song sans lyrics called "A Soft Place To Fall".  I played the guitar parts through an amp that most would never associate with a "clean" sound but I really liked the sound of this thing clean.  (Actually better than the Carr I own)  Listen to the song-the link is below- and see if you can tell what amp you are listening to.  I've had a lot of takers at this challenge and when they find out , they are s--t shocked.  Here's the link:

www.soundclick.com/bands/2/musicallymrmmusic.htmand listen to the song "A Soft Place To Fall".  Bet you'd never guess.  ;)
