Hi all

Malc here and I manage a friends website and her band have just recently released their album which is selling ok but I have now been tasked to find out how to get the album out there for download. They'll be gigging in Europe next year so they want the album available on i-tunes and the like but I'm finding it hard to figure out the best (UK) mp3 site to join.

I'll be checking out 'Artists Without a Label' and Reverbnation amongst others.

Any help or feedback on personal experiences is greatly appreciated!

Hi Malc, welcome aboard! :)

Check out soundcloud but, if it is a serious project make sure you register the songs with the US copyright office (there are links somewhere on these boards, probably the music business board) and register with a collection agency to get royalties collected, then use CD Baby or ReverbNation to distribute your songs to iTunes etc.
