Proliferation

P​roliferation means to expand.

Rapid growth of some grand plan.

Others race to just keep up.

Least they fall to far behind

Infected by their state of mind.

Future efforts to get ahead

Eventually will create

Rational thought for some too late.

Attention to detail is a must

Thought provocation is the thrust.

I honestly don't know what Proliferation even means.... *looking it up on dictionary.com as I type*....

Very well thought out acrostic! I especially like the ending "Now that's been said, this one's done!"... nice closing line

The Weekly Reader was a current event publication read in school when I was a kid....Long time ago. Don't know if it's even still around. lol
