Hi there, my name's Nathan, and I'm from a town called Hatfield in Hertfordshire - just outside London. I'm 18 and pretty much live for music. Spend around 8 hours a day listening, writing, absorbing! I love soul music, and blues-rock. My biggest inspiration is Nina Simone, and I have about 26 of her albums (still need a few more!) I don't really like love music, or generic love. There's plenty more issues to write about! I suffer from bi polar and OCD, though that's not important. I play and love the piano, and trying to learn harmonica at the moment! I despise the commercialisation of music, and anything celebrity related, I want to live for music, not the musicians who make that music! I can be fairly cynical at times. I don't believe in talent, just hard work and determination. I come from the same town as Mick Taylor and Guy Richie, haha! And as I type this I, currently listening to Curtis Mayfield - Roots album! :)
