Just thought I should do the polite thing and introduce myself.

I've been a writer all my life and have always surrounded myself with musicians... I've always wanted to try my hand at writing lyrics and am feeling particularly inspired right now. I'm not a musician, however, and despite nearly a decade of piano lessons I still don't really get how it all works. I am really, really good at turning a phrase.

I'm a psychologist in the daytime.

I'm hoping to post some lyrics, and critique some too. Also I'd be keen to work with someone who can do the music bits but maybe not the lyric bits.

What I would suggest is that you read the forums and familiarise yourself with the way Songstuff works, write some critiques for other lyricists and join in discussions and generally get to know people.
