Hey. I'm Gala.

1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments?

I sing and play piano.

I never took official voice lessons until 4 years ago but I've been singing since I was four, either at skating competitions (national anthem), local talent shows, or theater productions.

As far as piano goes, I took lessons when I was 5, 11, and 15 with three different instructors for about 2 years each. In between those times, I have been teaching myself.

2. Are you in a band or bands?

No, but I would like to be. However, haven't been able to find musicians in my area and I have nearly no free time between college and my job.

3. Do you write songs?

I write lyrics and often come up with a tune and harmony but i can't write sheet music to say my life. -.-

4. Do you record your music?

Nope.

5. What other roles do you perform in the music business?

I mainly sing but am currently unattached to the music business in any form. I just finished an eight-year stint working in a strictly musical theater company when I alternated as singer and spot light technician

6. Are you a tech head?

Nope. Not in the slightest.

7. What country do you live in?

United States of America

8. What are your ambitions?

Music wise, at the least, eventually have someone perform my lyrics and at the most, be a singer in a band.

9. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit?

At times, I get struck by the drawing ability but... those times are few and far between. I also write poetry and the occasional short story.

10. What would you like to get out of Songstuff?

Hm. I guess just critiques on my lyrics.... once I can find them in my room.
