I so wanted my one word intro topic to be clever but that's all I got. Oh well...

I've been a musician for a long time. I've been singing since I was a kid so it is my main instrument. Well the one I think the least about musically. I generally just go with where it takes me for better and worse.

Been in rock bands for most of my adult life. Theater and choral stuff growing up.

I was a "Bass player with vocal ability" for a while before taking up lead vocals exclusively in a rock band 4 or 5 years ago. Band went on hiatus after some limited local success. Common tail of musical misgivings. Link for that... http://www.3jcmusic.com. Not here to promote this really though. Not sure the band will ever do anything again and the site is kind of pathetic now.

So the last 2 years or so I've been focused on my musical recording and production skills. Really just trying to get to a place where I can put out a good product. I've taught myself guitar over the last 4 or 5 years and I really want to be able to get to producing quality tracks. I'm not quite there but I always feel I'm making progress and getting better. I love to collaborate on things. It's a great part of the learning process for figuring out things and staying busy when I don't have a song I'm working on. I'm not always available because life is busy but I try.

For my live fix these days I play out occasionally when someone is fool enough to pay me. It's an acoustic Duo kind of thing with a bass drum snare pedal blah blah. I'm not really here for that as it is mainly covers but we do write every now and again. http://www.reverbnation.com/soulpunch

I've been participating on another song writing forum for a while and I've learned a lot but it is time to branch out and I do recognize a few folks from that place here. My output from that place can be found here... http://www.soundclic...?bandID=1208363. This link is more in line with what I'm doing here. So I suppose I've prattled on enough... Site looks cool and I like reviewing music.

See ya on the interwebs here...
