A Personal Preface

Hey there!

I get the feeling this forum is a great place.  A resource for like minded individuals from all walks of life to bounce ideas around.  Very excited to peruse this gem of a think tank and contribute wherever I can.

About Me:

I wrote poetry growing up; a wonderful form of expression.  However I was never satisfied, always feeling it was too rich by itself, like consuming a bouillon cube.  I would like music to be the metaphorical broth.  Corny? ...maybe.  Effective? ...

I'm a self taught acoustic guitarist who's been playing for four years;  learning music as a change of pace from my university endeavors to become a mechanical engineer.  Though my world is normally riddled with numbers and equations, these personal studies of language and sound are rewarding in a whole different way.

My independent study has become borderline exhausting and definitely less constructive.  So I've arrived here; eager to learn from everyone and offer as much as possible in return. Hoping to discover my voice, my sound, and most importantly, a different side of myself in the process.
