Hey everyone,

 

I've been writing songs for over 20 years.  It really is my passion.  I feel like I've come a long way and am looking forward to getting some good advice here to help me continue to improve.  I'm also excited to share what little I've learn along the way!

 

I appreciate that this forum is focused more on song writing than on a particular music genre or recording gear.  While I primarily write in a synthpop style (a la Depeche Mode or Erasure) I try to keep my focus the song.  I pay especially close attention to lyrics and melody.

 

Anyway, I sure hope this forum is as much fun as it seems to be!
