Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the group here.  It looks like you guys have a really useful site and I'm looking forward to listening, giving feedback, learning, and interacting with everyone.  I'm a songwriter and I play in a band.  Thats probably the story with most of us.  I guess I'll let the music speak for itself when I get around to posting some of my own stuff.
