Hey everyone! Just found out about this forum, and it seems to be just what I was looking for: serious songwriters sharing good songs and giving useful critique! Really looking forward to getting involved!

 

My name is Rob, I'm 22 years old, and I live in the Netherlands. Since like 6 years, music and playing the guitar have been two of the most important things in my live. Lately, I've been getting more and more into writing singer-songwriter style songs and lyrics. Also, working on singing properly right now! Takes a while but I'm getting there!

 

I almost exclusively write English lyrics, not sure why. Seems like the proper language to express certain things. 

 

As for musical influences, I really like Iron&Wine, Neil Young, Simon&Garfunkel, but also bands like Led Zeppelin.
