We are trying to reduce the ability to do this, but it's a difficult balance as measures to reduce this tend to discourage genuine posters too.

Measures are in place to stop this happening in the PM system, but general posting still tends to fall to the moderatores to control.

Good suggestion though...

yes, you're right. but this kind of posts are increasing lately in all forums, and you can imagine what can happen to forums if they get massively stuffed with spam as you get daily in hotmail...

internet is still a new world that needs to evolve. but we don't want to loose the freedom!! that's the best thing of the net!!!. something that we don't have in real life...
