I'm a 58 yr old male singer songwriter musician. I do mostly Southern Gospel and Country Gospel. Been writing songs since 1995 after a near death experience. Been singing my songs locally and pretty much sitting on them. I'd like to finally get them copyrighted and put them out there for someone to do them justice. I would like to talk with others who have copyrighted their works and figure out what I need to do. I have some questions that are not that clear in Copyright Office faq.

Thank you Dave for your response, I have read that but what I want to know from someone is do I submit my song sheet in detail arrangement or a lead sheet or just lyrics and chord. I tend to be a perfectionist and tend to go overboard on making a song sheet.  lol . Once I get them copyrighted I will put them here for critique.
