Robert Hazard/Escalator Of Life I grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. This guy was a local hero with his band Robert Hazard & The Heroes. They were huge in the Philadelphia area during the "new wave" era. This song was an early MTV hit, though I don't think the song broke as big as it should have. He also wrote Cyndi Lauper's hit, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Sadly he passed away in 2008. Always loved this tune.
