I suppose I should introduce myself! As my username would suggest, I'm Shane. I'm 24 years old and live in rural Northern Ireland (so rural that my next door neighbour has ducks).

I'm a lyricist by day and a dreamer by night. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after losing heart in the 'business' a few years back after a few 'almost' successes.

When it comes to music, nothing's off limits for me. I listen to pop, country, rock and even a little bit of Gregorian chanting if the mood takes me.

I'm really looking forward to integrating with this community. I did a bit of snooping before I signed up and you lot seem a lovely (and talented) bunch.

So here's to a successful and healthy 2014, eh?
