Look Another Newbie

I have decided to hone my beginner's songwriting skills to a professional level. I'm not obsessed with being famous. I'd just like to produce music that has pride in workmanship and appeals to people. 

 

I listen to all kinds of music, so my ideas don't fit neatly into a genre. I call it alt-rock just to answer anyone who asks.

 

I've taken lessons on various instruments over the past 20 years and have enough skill to be dangerous. I've rebuilt my computer for home recording, so I can make my own CDs. 

 

Real glad to be here, and I'll get started soon with pesky questions!
