Challenge # 34 - Why?

WHY?

 

Through universal planes

On light through window panes

The mystery never ends

As our sacred aura bends

Around our bodies and our souls

Searching for unrealised goals

Can we ever encompass this fact

That we should've made a pact

 

We're all in search of something

Our spirits and our dreams

But open up your mind and find

That all's not what it seems

 

We hold on to what is given to us

Settle for most things without a fuss

But when we find something on the nose

Need to know how a cold wind blows

Unique we are in wisdom and whiles

Eclectic from hermits to panophiles

All considered same by a days end

Able to reach out a hand if in need of a friend

 

We're all in search of something

Our spirits and our dreams

But open up your mind and find

That all's not what it seems

 

Can we give our life some meaning

And quit all this demeaning

Of everything we hold true

Providing sustenance to me and you

We are nourished by natures ether

While on a timid line we teeter

Surrounded by all that use to be

And that is everything to me

 

We're all in search of something

Our spirits and our dreams

But open up your mind and find

That all's not what it seems

 

 

At a universes heart

Is a living breathing thing

If our existence was a tree

It wouldn't even make one ring

So feel humbled that you're here

There's no need to ask why

Just look up to the sky in wonder

Cos one day you're gonna die
