I don't believe that there's a "perfect" sequencer I have tried many over the years.

for midi and vsti's cubase is my choice, but for audio recording and editing my choice is Acid.

also I noticed you didn't name ableton live, which for my taste is more interesting than reason.

Actually - it means "eight pots of sourcream" - a piece of a Norwegian trad.

Anyway: am I the only Cubase user here? I don't believe it!

I use cubase too, but not as my main weapon, just for midi and vsti's, then export the wav files to Acid.

Guess I think it's easy because I've been using it for 15 years ... but it's really not that hard either ...
