Not sure where to ask this, I have been roamin the net looking for licks and stumbled upon www.elickz.com it's a paid site and wonder if anyone has used it?

If licks are cool cheaper than a book lol.

I find YouTube and my play list to be the biggest and best repository of licks and knowledge. Listen to a song. Pause when you find a lick that is interesting. Recreate the lick yourself by playing it at different parts of the fretboard. Improvise on each one of those versions over a backing track on Youtube and you've got hours of fun.

I dunno if you'd find this helpful but I just wanted to say what was in my head.

I'll be following this thread as I'm curious to know the other sources and methods. Thanks :)

You need to get out more. There's an entire city for it called Las Vegas. 

 

On a serious note, I tried going to that site but it never loaded. Not 100% sure what you mean by licks.
