I am new to this site and to sharing my lyrics. I am a typical mid-western grandpa who has worked at the same lineman's job for 30 years. I like to write short stories and random thoughts to make people think, laugh or cry. In the immortal words of the late NC State basketball coach, Jim Valvano, at his ESPY awards speech : if you laugh, cry and think every day, that's a full day. So I use that has my motto. I am poor at proper grammar, therefore I write like i talk,(sorry English majors). I have no musical abilities other than what I hear in my head. I have rarely shared any of my lyrics so I am looking forward to some reviews and critiques. Thank you all in advance
