Redemption Songs Mic Check

Recommended Posts

Hello All, I just got a new shure sm7b for vocals yesterday and wanted to test it out. I was going to record some guitar with and without the pop filter to see how it sounds, but I picked up the guitar and decided to sing some Bob Marley to test it out. The Shure sm7b is on the vocal. I sat in a chair and had the mic on a boom stand with a reflection filter. I used a Nt1 rode to mic the guitar to my right side. I recorded 2 Vocal track and 2 Guitar tracks simultaneously and panned the accordingly. I did the same for the background Vocals 4 tracks.. I think the Shure sm7b is a great mic well worth having in a mic collection. I have a cloudlifter for it and I had the dial at about 4. Any advice on would be great thanks
