So how does one get the little "c in a circle", the copyright mark onto the page?

Also, I tried to edit a post of mine, but after a couple edits (and still typo's)

it wouldn't let me edit anymore ("you do not have permission to edit that topic").

Lastly, I'm puzzled by the "views" counter, for I was on this phorum and like

right after I posted a topic, there were 19 views! Is that possible when at the

bottom of the page it stated thre were only 2 users browsing?

Er um, don't mean to be accusatory or anything, re: that last one.

Thank yew!

Here's one for you! © :)

I keep one in a notepad doc on my desktop and just copy and paste when I need it. OR I copy somebody elses. In word, if you type © it automatically changes to ©

Absolutely no idea...? ???

This is the 'paranoia' scale. We like to know how stable you are! eye_anim.gif

Hi Donna

If I remember rightly there is a setting the forum admin to set a time limit within which a member can edit their post. I think it's set to 20 minutes, but I'm not sure. If anyone else has encountered this as a problem they haven't told me.

I'll check it out. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Cheers

John

Hey John, that makes sense, the time limitation to edit.

Alistair, what is a bot?

Hey grover, those accent marks are neat. Alas, I have no "gr" on this keyboard.

Doh! Yes, of course Steve, I'll just copy someone else's c-in-a-circle.

I've the feeling my stability will grow, being around here...

Another Q! When I clicked on "show all" for the smiley faces, that

is when I lost a post. If there's a way to do this and not delete, let

me know. I did hit the refresh, but no luck.

Maybe I need no pictures anyway. The words should suffice.

Hey A Tom (2), thanks!

You oughtta be tom-tom, then. Double tom? I like nick names, it's

my Aunties' influence, do not be offended if I nick your name!

I actually saved that link!

Hi all.

Two more questions...

What board should I post to ask others' opinions/experience about songwriting contests?

Also, on what board would I post a thread about "SoundClick" (?), garageband.com, and why artists have gone with one or the other as hosts for their tunes.

Songwritingstuff board?

Thanks!

For your first query I'd suggest 'songwritingstuff' and the second 'artiststuff'. Note that a number of the fora have sub fora.

If the worst comes to the worst, choose the forum you think it should be in and one of us will move it.

Hey,

Will someone tell me how to ascribe a quote to a certain person? Someone did explain, but I didn't get it. Mine look like this:

Just to add to that, if the bass or guitar was panned central it will be equally present inboth channels of the mix.

as opposed to this:

QUOTE(john @ Mar 14 2006, 07:00 PM)

Obviously if the Guitar and Bass were panned hard left or right, they will not be present in the other mix channel.

Newly yours still,

Donna
