Are you a Twitter user? Are you using it, or planning to use it,  to get the word out about your songs? Join the Twitter Collective.

 

 

It's a club dedicated to working together through Twitter to kick start your activity whenever you are doing a release, post a new song or video, or for important news.

 

Working together helps you to spread your news and grow your followers by really increasing your reach.

 

While informal agreements can help, cueing up your fellow twitter users can really help. Giving them advanced warning helps get around posts flying by unnoticed. It gives you a chance to coordinate your music promotion.

 

Additionally the club lets you easily exchange ideas about what works, what could work better, and what doesn't work at all. It helps you to stop repeating the mistakes of others and gives you a chance to learn and improve.

 

This includes:

 

• What kinds of posts work best
• What time of day works best
• What balance of posting is currently getting good results
• What strategies are best for growing followers
• What strategies work to convert followers into fans
• What strategies work best when you are gtting started as a musician on Twitter
