You sound like such a cool cat Fasstrack!  

 

I'm glad I'm not gigging anymore, haven't for a very long time.  The musical community where I live is fairly tight knit, if I show my face everyone says "where have you been!?" yada yada.  I don't know, I've gone rogue man. Fairly solitary person.  I got a nice vicarious peek here at the life hehe!  I just want to flesh out my original work, after spending so many years learning other people's tunes. Whether or not anyone else ever enjoys it is irrelevant (but I admit would be nice 😋)

Oh I agree, definitely! I personally don't care about money though, which sounds ridiculous and stupid, but true. What I need to eat and cover my body and a place to live. Everything has been turned into sellable goods or services in this world. We no longer take care of each other. I believe in a gift economy system (reference Charles Eisenstein, Sacred Economics, great read!).  But that's just me personally.

I bet you sound great at City Hall! I did a stint of street work myself, although not music. I did balloon sculptures and face painting, my ex was a street musician and escape artist. Busking is certainly an artform and you meet the most eccentric interesting people! We travelled the east coast in a winnebago lol.

 

Yeah the internet age has not been kind to anyone with intellectual property, so easy to steal it. Good luck with your gig on the 6th! Knock em dead.

I hate to admit that I don't know that song! Nope, one syllable. It's funny all the men I've ever loved have one syllable names and/or start with B. I've always thought that was weird anyway. Not that it's a huge list. Now I play for the other team! Hehe
