Your Song (Elton John) - a reworking

This is an alternative cover version of Your Song by Elton John. I made it at a time when I was wondering how those words would sound if I read them at the end of the relationship they were born for.

Hey Roberto!  Been a while - hope you're doing well!  I think you guys did a really good job on this.  It has an intensity or melancholy that brings a new dimension to Elton's song.  You definitely captured that feeling of still loving someone, and communicating that sentiment at the end of the relationship.

Hi James. Yes, it's been a while. Hope everything is ok, you really disappeared :). 

 

I wrote this version of Your Song at the end of a relationship, so there is a lot about me inside...hahaha.  :) 

 

And  not only melancholy, also rage and bitterness.

 

Hope you are going to post a lot in the future!

@robertolabruna Haha, yeah, I'm okay.  Just busy with life.  Yeah, you can really feel the angst in the song.  Sorry it came from such pain, but you definitely used it to create something special here!
