I love this song. Elliott Smith has definitely been a main inspiration of mine to learn guitar, and I got so excited when I could make it through this one that I had to try! It's not perfect, but I would really appreciate any feedback on my cover of this classic.

I thought this was really solid from a playing standpoint, and captured a bit of that Elliott Smith vibe ... I can hear how you've got his influence in your vocal delivery.  The only thing I'd suggest critique-wise ... Can you mic your voice independently? I know ES had that whisper quality to his vocals ...But I'd even suggest going back in post and throwing in a little whispered vocals to flesh out the vox and give it a little more body. The words are hard to pick up for me and that's arguably the bread and butter of his music ...Those insanely deep words that catch the mind/heart and make you think/feel/relate/connect.

Love this song. I think you've done a grand job! I think I prefer when you sing the vocals higher up, the ones at the lower end seem to get lost a little. Very nice though, I enjoyed it a lot
