Electronic Music Makers - Live Performance?

Hi Gang

 

Live streaming has made live performance accessible to bedroom musicians like never before. No longer is a load of gear an excuse for not playing live. To be honest it wasn’t much of an excuse anyway. Likewise live looping, grid controllers, DAWs geared for live performance etc all make it easy, for electronic and pretty well all bedroom musicians, to play live to an audience if they want to.
 

The only thing now stopping bedroom musicians (other than budget for the gear) is fear and confidence.

 

A few questions:

 

  • Do you or do you intend to play live gigs or do you have or intend to have a live set up to enable live streaming your music?
    • How many musicians are involved?
    • What gear do you use?
    • What do you like / dislike about your live set up?
  • If you don’t play live, why?
