Oh my! This is one of the first songs of Ray that graced my young ears of being a musician. What a great rendition Simon. Thank you for this!

 

As far as the production goes, I loved it! Everything sounds crystal clear and the instruments well separated to give it good life to an age old classic. And man, what a voice!

Loved the Bond element. Did you know Ian Fleming said Bond looked like the songwriter, Hoagy Carmichael? I've always thought this song was what Paul McCartney was actually dreaming of when he dreamt up Yesterday, as the opening chords are almost identical - F A7 Dm Bb instead of F A7 Dm Gm, and it's got that one-word start, Georgia/Yesterday.
