Your Studio- Hardware / Software

I got to thinking. I read a Facebook post asking why some guys had a whole bunch of hardware in their studios, was it just showing off, my studio’s bigger than yours etc. The fact that there’s a new generation of music makers that have never known a music making world outside of their PC is both amazing and sad all at the same time.

 

Of course, not all will be polarised. Many will have a mix of hardware and software (I am not including your audio interface as hardware as an interface is essential for any form of multitrack audio on a computer.)

 

Anyway, I wondered what balance you all had?
