Hello, I'm just your average hobbyist. I was always just playing around with FL Studio, but a few weeks ago got the sudden urge to make Epic Orchestral music, probably since I listen to Two Steps From Hell and Hiroyuki Sawano a lot. It has been going nicely as I learn new things, but it has also been very difficult. Sometimes inspiration hits, and I begin creating the song, but then as suddenly as it comes, it stops, and I'm left pondering what to do next. I don't know if this is just me.

 

I've entered this forum to look for critiques for the songs I make now and in the future.

When you describe inspiration leaving… can you lay out your typical process?
