"Peaceful Easy Feeling" is a song written by Jack Tempchin and recorded by the Eagles. It was the third single from the band's 1972 debut album Eagles.

Jack Tempchin wrote the song during a period in which he was performing at folk coffee shops around his hometown of San Diego, birthplace of my son Enrico, and daughter Clarissa.

Back in the day, my parents named their boat "Peaceful Easy Feeling"... We must have played and sang that song a thousand times lol. Nice job Rene, brings back memories

The first few albums they did were the best in my opinion. This cut along with Lying Eyes" and "Take it Easy" were the cream of the crop I thought. Good job on it.

 

PS: People thought Bernie was nuts for leaving the band but I thought he left at just about the right time.

I do have their songs in lyrics and chords, so I play their song a bunch.
