What's the deal with attachments?

I just wrote my first blog entry and I wanted to include a musical sample, but the maximum attachment size allowed was something ridiculous like 15kb.  I've had a similar problem with attachments in PM's that reach a limit after a few back and forths, and then I'm no longer able to use attachments.  Since SongStuff seems to discourage the communication of individuals through e-mail, can we get some kind of increase to attachment allowances?

I had to get with John because file limit sizes aren't that small.  I've got a couple things left to check that may be the causing the problem.
