Concert ticket Costs ?

an article by 'Musicradar'  in Feb 2022 said the BBC published a report  that ticket prices had double since the late 90's.

 It went on the say touring bands ,promoters and venues are also costing more, for them to put on the shows.

Greg Parmley CEO of Live said supply changes were the issue across the music industry and said the challenging economic conditions were increasing the cost of putting music on

 

l dont accept this.

 

The  ticket prices the fans are expected to pay is outrageous and getting out of control.

 

My husband tried to get tickets  a while ago for Foo Fighters concert. He couldnt get them as they were selling each caller 8 tickets at a time and sold out very fast because of that. Now some tickets can be bought on' resale' for the cost of approx £327 !! 

 

l think that is disgusting business practice and there seems to be no control to stop even though its challenged.

music articles are saying fans are still paying these outrageous prices and  prices seem to not be slowing down.
