This is my second cover for the beautiful song "Unknown (To You)", and I am looking forward to your thoughts, critiques, and suggestions!

Nice voice. The intro reminds me of Pink Floyd - Division Bell. Other than that it’s a nice arrangement. You could have more build for transitions to create a more dynamic mix, but it has a lot of promise. I;d be interested to see if a more dynamic mix would have resulted in an even better vocal performance. I say that only because, for all the singer has a good voice, I get the feeling they still have more in the tank.

 

I’d like to have seen a performance video or a lyric video at least. The static image adds nothing to a song performance that deserves more.

 

All in all it’s a good job. You’ve just missed a punch or two imo.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

I would like to have it with more dynamics too, but simply do not have enough mixing skills yet, rather than turning compressor and volume knobs :).

 

Agree also on the static image, will work on it to gain more attention.

Meanwhile it is time to recall Pink Floyd songs :)
