When you get what you want

But not what you really seek

When you're feeling way too ordinary

Not unique

When you're feeling f*cked up like me

And not any less or better

On your way down the drain

Writing your death-letter

When you feel like you've had enough

Keep on living

Stay tough

Made it at last. Nice to see a new poet here.

This bit about the edge seems a little odd. Though I can understand the intent.

How about

When you're feeling f*cked up like me

And not any less or better

On your way down the drain

Writing your death-letter

or

When you're feeling f*cked up like me

And not any less or better

On your way over the edge

Writing your death-letter

Hey

Yeah a good poem. It makes you think enough to engage, but not enough to become frustrated. Great.

Cheers

John

Thank you :D, that was the whole idea with the poem. To start low, and end with a high, and go on in life, and take the bad with the good. :)
