What sampler...

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm thinking of getting a second hand sampler to add to my studio.

1. What are the benefits of / trade offs between the various Akai samplers?

2. What are common faults that I need to keep an eye out for and how can I check for them?

Cheers

You cant mess with the MPC2000xl...its relativly cheap, its very high quality and great for live and studio use. The only drawback being (as with most akai stuff!) is the rather steep learning curve and the VERY thick manual!...but still well worth it. Ive tried out many samplers in my time and this is the balls.
