So Songwriters ... What do you think is the next step after making that song your finally happy with. Do you market the song ? Promote it ? Look to get it published ? Try to get some kind of deal, maybe try to win some contests here and there? If so, where do you look ? Who do you pitch it to? Has anyone here reached the next step? Does anyone have any experience in this area? Has anyone ever published, sold, or in any way got compensated for their songs? I know this is a lot of questions but I really think about this stuff all the time. If noone has reached this step has anyone read any books that can answer these quiestions?
