WARNING:

Legitimate A&R folks will NOT ask for money. Generally speaking A&R folks are people who look for Musicians to invest in, meaning, they pay you. If someone is asking you for money under any pretense, this is not a valid "A&R offer" .  If they are offering a service that you think is worth the money, do some serious checking into the legitimacy of the people making the offer, if it still seems like a good investment, then go for it.  There are many sharks in the water, beware.
