• Policing conformance to board guidelines
  
• Individual responsibilities like moderation of specific boards versus global moderation
  
• Topic and Post Housekeeping
  

To become a moderator you should have 50+ likes (as displayed on the right of your profile page)

If you are interested in applying for either of the above roles, please drop me a PM.

We may not always be looking for members to suppliment our existing mods and staff, in that case (assuming that you are interested in a specific role) we will add your name to a list to be use for selection should a new position become available.

Authors and Reporters

We are always looking for authors and columnists with experience in a all aspects that Songstuff covers (virtually anything to do with music). If you have an example article, please include it with your application.

Authors are required to complete a simple copyright authorisation that will allow Songstuff to distribute their work. All work is subject to editorial approval. An understanding of writing could internet copy is preferred, although basic guidelines can be provided.

Longer term authors could look to working as an editor with Songstuff.

Please PM me,send an email as an application using our contact page, or simply reply to this topic, stating your interest in helping with this aspect of the site. Please also state your experience level, the subject areas you would expect to be covering, the role that you would like to fill (article author, columnist, reporter) and the amount of time you expect to be able to spend on a weekly basis.

Hey

Would anyone like to volunteer to become a moderator? We are looking for some motivated moderators interested in helping to grow and maintain our community.

Ideally moderators would have an interest in a particular area of the boards, even better if you have skills in that area. That said some boards do not require skill, only enthusiasm for the subject.

In addition to the role outlined above I would encourage moderators to find and post links of interest, articles, information, examples etc. This not only presents a useful store of links on specific topics (which helps members), but also provides material to be discussed on the boards.

If you can bring some enthusiasm, would like to see Songstuff continue to provide help to fellow musicians, and would like to directly help shape our community, please send me a PM with any questions you may have.
