Stereo mike

Folks,

Looking for a decent stereo mike I can carry around with my Minidisc recorder ( to get some atmospheres and things like that ).

Best if it's unbalanced - the MD only has a stereo minijack input. Fairly cheap would be good  

Any pointers?

Hi Bongstuff,

Don't have any answer, but would be interested also, to record some of my gigs live.

I would use my Tascam audio CDRW instead of the minidisc, and a cheap/small mixer if necessary.

Don't know about mics! But if you want a very small mixer? Behringer do  avery very small one for about £60 (94 euros)

I use a Sony, it cost me $100, but it records great. I'm not sure of the model and whatnot, but it has a 90 degree/180 degree switch and takes a aa batt. I swear by it!

I already know this mixer, and I might buy/use one if I need quality.

Otherwise (if I just need basic mic inputs), I have the old 4 tracks mixer from my MT44 4 tracks recorder (the mixer and recorder were separate units).

Yes, and I've got the complete one, with "wood shelf and patchbay" included

When I changed to something else, it was already too late to sell it anyway.

I find it quite incredible what I managed to achieve with it,  with only 3 tracks (that's one for the sync. with the sequencer).
