Hi

Yet again I thought Iit would be worthwhie to try and entice that elusive breed, music producers, to share some of their advice, opinions and talent with the songstuff users.

Go on, one little post won't hurt!

Similarly, it'd be good to hear from any up and coming musicians who are serious about their production and/or would like to move in that direction.

Here is a nugget of wisdom...pertaining to drums.

When mastering your drumtrack or tracks make sure you set your compression levels to attack slightly slower than full bore so the initial strike of the drum can get through before compression kicks in.  Then set your ration at a minimum of 6 to 1.   8) Word!

One think to add is select a hardknee compression!
