Thank you very much for your comments Marty. Yes that is me singing. I like the Smithereens' comment, hadn't thought of it before, but I agree, they had a great edgy/pop sound. You've inspired me to post some of my other songs (Cookies and No Expectations) which have more of a JJ Cale/Derek & Dominoes feel. Would appreciate your feedback on those as well. Best to you Jim. I very much like the song melody (have no idea what the lyrics mean) , and the vocals are really nice, I don't like the electric guitar. I think the song would benefit with just acoustic instruments (maybe replace the guitar part with mandolin or a rhythm violin part) With a tighter arrangement, this could be really, really good.
