Hidden Talents

Hey

Ok we all know each others as musicians and lyricists... what other talents do you have that we don't know about?

I've already shared some pastel pictures that I do from time to time (in one of the art board threads)

Flirting. I'm good at that!

and I occsionaly make architectural models. Usually to a scale of 1:76. Here's an unfinished pair. the tallest one is about 16cm (6") high.

Sadly not! I built these for a mate. Who's getting a little bit peed off because I haven't finished them yet! But having seen his layout! I have been considering it myself. I love trains! And if it's good enough for Rod Stewart, it's ok by me! I started this when I used to work for an Architect in Bristol. He showed me a model he'd built of a project. It was pretty stunning! But never came to fruition. So I built a model of a mates house. I think he still has it, despite him moving a few times. It was built from card. These are built with plastick!

plastick? wossat then? I wouldnt mind a go at this meself.

In 3 rooms of the house, I can turn the lights on & off using my toes.

While brushing my teeth, I can put on my socks, boxers, trousers, shirt & shoes without pause.

That's pretty cool Steve, looks better than some of the models my architect mate does

I have quite a few other skills, some aren't worth mentioning though...

4 years ago I could speak Norwegian fluently, it's somewhat rusty now, but nothing some practice wouldn't cure!

I can strip down and rebuild a large number of bicycle components, and (given appropriate spares) make it all work if broken.

Oh and I like to turn my hand to modelling with clay or metal or wood when I get the chance... Pictures of the results will be posted when I find them...

And I guess I could stick in here that I can milk a cow by hand!

That'll do for now, there's no artistic skills in me except for music really...

Well, as promised... See, I didn't spend my ENTIRE week being lazy.. I took some pictures too!!! (And dug a two foot deep trench with a hand trowel and coal shovel... And made steps up to my parents toilet... And a fence to keep their chickens in...)

I write a lot, screenplays, short-stories, newspaper articles.

That and writing songs are the only things I've ever been told by anyone I'm good at, lol.

um.... dieting.

My diet that began in April 2007 ended in September 2008.

I lost 4.5 stone (thats 63 lb to the colonists). Im now a steady 11 stone
