So here I was, right in the middle of bitching about all sorts of things, when all of a sudden I had an idea!

 

I thought to myself: "Mr VX, these fine folks here have gone through the trouble of reading all your bullshit. Which is no simple task because you write a f*ck-ton. So what you need right now, is to put a fresh spin on things and give something back to the community! for some unknown reason your continued presence and this shameless Blog are being allowed. So its time to pay the Piper. Stop being selfish. Come up with an interactive idea that encourages community engagement. What`s that? why? WHY!? because I am your inner monologue and I said so! that`s why! pfft. The nerve of this fellow. Asking me questions. You forget your place. Bitch".

 

So y'all know what time is it - ITS TIME FOR HUMAN EXPERIMENTATION! you heard me!

 

So. like. Instead of shamelessly promoting this blog by @ pinging random active members, which is something I DID consider doing! (you know, for shits and giggles, and because I am not above startling strangers 😏). Instead, I am going to do something a little different. Though you should know I am not entirely shelving that idea! I can totally see myself pinging someone super serious and be like "hey what`s up!". Then they be like: "What is this? who DARES disturb me while I am feasting on these delicious British crumpets! this is some foul play, indeed!". What? I love British comedy 😂

 

So Here`s My Idea:

* When ever someone inspires me to make a blog entry, not only will I mention them, but I will also give them a "Mock Sponsorship" treatment! this basically means that I will write a short comedic segment promoting them and their music, as if they were this Blog`s sponsors! you know, like a short commercial break that will be placed somewhere in the post. Like a Mock Youtube add (who doesn't love those huh?!). And... just in case your wondering - yes - it WILL be ridicules AND it WILL be shameless! it will be sheer unadulterated glorification! though obviously these segments won`t be too long because I still want to write about my own shit 😅 but yeah I think it can be a cool idea. I`ll get to do something I enjoy while promoting someone else. Its a win win. And yes obviously I will ask for permission! and yes if someone is a regular commenter of mine, they can request an entire post dedication! though this applies ONLY for my regulars in here *

 

And, yes, I was also thinking about writing weekly mock song reviews, for people who might be interested in that. A word of caution though: unlike the mock sponsorship segments, these mock song reviews might not be in a form of glorification. Meaning - do not submit something that`s too dear to you. I never go all out with my jokes, but I do intend to poke at it.

 

So how about it? what do you guys think about my idea? and if your cool with it, who wants to be featured in my first mock sponsorship segment? which ones among you have the gull, the kohonas, nay... the majestic aura and esteemed privilege, required for becoming an illustrious Patreon of this humble establishment? 😅

A sitcom? nah I don`t think i`m that THAT funny 😅 though good on you for becoming my first sponsor! you`d be glad to know that I am also considering to play around with pictures to add a visual element. Aka, titties for everyone, right 👌 P.S just so you know, in my mind you might become a grizzled exotic Latino named Esteban. Yes I know that`s not your name and I know your not from Spain. Really? nice! I wasn't sure if you`d be down for it. But yeah. Perfect :)i`m going to be a bit busy in the next couple of days, but after i`m done, i`ll be able to write down proper. I should also mention, that the order of which I will be writing these segments, is going to be entirely random. Meaning, there will be no real order to which I feature sponsors. I might start with you, or maybe with someone else. In other words: there will be no bias or orderly placement - everything I write here depends on my muse or the Blogs context 😅 and yes a sponsor can also be featured more than once, depending on whether or not I felt like developing or adding to the original concept. This formula is also subject to change.
