  1. Record a few of your songs playing the piano and singing. Then you have something to share with other musicians who might be interested in collaborating.
  2. In my opinion, it's probably not that important. Do people still buy CD's? But for myself, when I put out a new album I love putting together the artwork. It's just a fun, creative thing to do. I love it. So yeah, these days, probably not to important. But when I was a kid spending every last dime I had buying cassette tapes. I would buy albums just cause I thought the album cover looked awesome. I found a lot of great bands that way. And some that were not so great.
  3. f*ck No its not dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I write and record music for all my fans. Well OK. my ONE fan. Well, unfortunatly that one fan is ME. But on a more serious note. More recently I just got into making homegrown albums and I try to do almost everything including art work and CD Production myself. Probably not to many people will ever hear them. So I don't have to produce to many of them. Lol. Wait! is that funny? Peace, JOe
  5. I don't have an answer to your question. But you never know what an artist can do to somebody else's songs. In my opinion it's usually hard to beat the original. I would say 19 out of 20 times the original is always better. If somebody told me Johnny Cash was going to do some NIN covers I wouldn't think in a million years they would be any good or anything I would want to listen to. But HOLY SHIT!! I would've been completly WRONG! Johnny Cash's version of NIN's "Hurt" is truly amazing in my book. Possibly my favorite cover ever.
